Imagine

This piece, titled Imagine, is a chaotic yet deeply personal reflection of my past life as a DJ—the energy, the madness, and the dreamlike way I now look back on it. It’s a visual explosion of sounds, emotions, and late-night adventures, capturing the contrast between my weekday reality and weekend transformation. The Superman figure represents that dual identity—by day, I was sort of a Clark Kent figure, grinding away at a soul-destroying job, but come the weekend, I became something else entirely, stepping into the night as a larger-than-life character (in my head of course!). The fragmented imagery, bold colours, and scattered symbols mirror the unpredictability and excitement of that time. The piece really i suppose is about escapism, reinvention, and the idea that even in the most ordinary lives, there’s always room to be something extraordinary.
