About Ciano – Irish Visual Artist
A Voice Built from Street Art, Satire, and Colour
I’m Ciano, an Irish visual artist whose work merges the grit of street art, graffiti, and pop expressionism. My pieces are bold, chaotic, and unapologetic — a mix of raw energy, layered meaning, and cultural noise. The goal? Art that doesn’t whisper, but demands attention.
From Music to Mixed Media
For over 16 years, I was immersed in the world of DJing and music production — living inside rhythm, tempo, and subculture. But art was always calling. In 2013, I answered. What started as a shift during a tough recession turned into a full creative rebirth. With fresh motivation, I explored new forms of self-expression — paint, collage, text, texture — searching for a voice that felt true.

Fuelled by Subculture and Self-Discovery
My work reflects the spirit of rebellion, the aesthetics of urban life, and the fragmented nature of media. I’m drawn to the energy of punk, underground visuals, and DIY culture. Each piece becomes a kind of mirror — not just of myself, but of the overstimulated world around us. I don’t aim for perfection. I aim for impact.
From Cork to Collectors Worldwide
I’ve shown work in galleries and cafés. I’ve sold to private collectors in Cork, Dublin, and the U.S. I continue to create original artwork and limited edition prints, with each piece designed to provoke and speak directly from artist to viewer.
